How do I measure for curtains and blinds?

Could you measure for me?
In some circumstances I could come to your home to measure, especially if you live close to Stroud.
How do I know how much material I need?
Once you have your measurements I can advise on quantities required.
Do you alter existing curtains?
Yes I can alter curtains to fit different size windows. A good option if you have moved, or are planning to move, house.
Do you only do curtains and blinds?
No, plenty of other products, see the curtains extras, cushions and accessories pages for some other ideas.
How will I get curtain material to you?
You can either deliver or post material to me or in some circumstances I can collect from you. If fabric is being ordered on-line, very happy to give my address (see contact details) as the delivery address.
Do you provide tracks and poles?
I don’t currently provide them but can advise on their purchase.
How do I pay?
Payment is by cash, cheque or bank transfer in line with the terms and conditions accessible at the bottom of this page.
What if I live outside Gloucestershire?
I am still very happy to quote to make-up your curtains or roman blinds and can advise on the most appropriate means of sending both the fabric and then finished products.
Are you contactable outside normal working hours?
Yes, telephone number 01453 764416 will be answered up to 21.00 in the evening, including weekends. If I am unavailable, please leave a message and I will return your call just as soon as I get back. My Mobile 07855 607210 is also an option.
Do you fit curtain tracks and poles?

Do you supply curtain fabric?
I stock a range of lining fabrics but don't currently supply curtain fabric. I can however suggest both on-line and off-line fabric suppliers.
Do you do dressmaking work?
Whilst I have done dressmaking in the past, my curtain making keeps me quite busy enough now! If you have a dressmaking requirement however, feel free to speak to me about it as I do have a contact who may well be able to help.
Do you make loose covers?
Again I have done some in the past but prefer now to focus on my curtain making. I do however have a contact that I can provide who specialises in loose covers.
